eddie & dom to open leeds united pop-up in trinity leedsBack
Leeds United’s new shop opens in Trinity Leeds on Thursday morning, and club ambassadors Eddie Gray and Dominic Matteo will be there to mark the club’s return to the city centre.
The pop-up store, near Marks & Spencer and Burton’s on Trinity Street, will be the first Leeds United shop in LS1 since the club’s Albion Street shop closed in 2007, and will be open from 1st – 31st August. Work to get the store ready is happening right now.
Eddie and Dom will be there at 9am sharp on Thursday morning, to declare the shop open and to meet the fans. Special events are planned throughout the day, so keep an eye on Twitter for updates on what’s going on.
The shop will be stocking the new home and away kits that Leeds will be wearing this season, as well as selections from the retro collection featuring club shirts from the past. Some exclusive new products will only be available from the Trinity Leeds shop, and local brand Made in Leeds are set to reveal something new to be sold in the store.
Leeds players visited Trinity Leeds on Tuesday to meet fans, while back at Elland Road Luke Varney and Ross McCormack were on the phones in the ticket office, drumming up sales for Saturday’s opener against Brighton.
Manager Brian McDermott has given his message for the new season to Leeds fans, saying, "We all need to stand together. I know there’s a lot of goodwill out there and the fans want us to do well. I can just sense it."
