leeds united set to confirm adryan signing before boltonBack
Brazilian wunderkind Adryan is set to be confirmed as a Leeds United player before kick-off against Bolton Wanderers today.
Phil Hay of the YEP reports that:
Adryan move was finalised last night, Leeds expect to sign it off officially in the next hour or so. #lufc

Adryan Oliveira Tavares will sign too late to bolster coach-less Leeds in the game today, but the 20-year old is by far the most exciting capture of a busy summer of transfers, and is one signing that certain cynics (okay, me) didn’t think the club would pull off.
Complications around the transfer, which involved cancelling his loan from Cagliari to Flamengo and then moving him on to Leeds again, didn’t make it sound any easier, but it seems like United now have the attacking playmaker that the team has been crying out for.
He could also be the superstar the fans have been crying out for, although people who have watched his career so far say the youngster has found pressure hard to cope with.
Adryan might find Leeds hard to cope with, but then anyone would right now. Other reports this morning say former West Brom boss Steve Clarke is receptive to the idea of becoming Leeds coach, but strangeness is never far away; former assistant manager Nigel Gibbs, who is involved in legal action over his treatment by the club, was apparently approached about taking charge after the Watford game. He declined.
Massimo Cellino has been interviewed at length about love and life in the wake of Hockaday’s sacking and has circulated a message around the ground this morning; while in more prosaic news Casper Sloth has international clearance to play today.
