We asked creative individuals and industry professionals in the city to be involved in LDFW6 as our Brand Ambassadors. These individuals are artists, fashion designers, baristas, gallery owners and more. We wanted to tell a visual story about our city, with our city, so we’ve asked them to participate in our week-long Instagram challenge. You can follow the challenge, and all our Brand Ambassadors on Instagram using #LDFW6
We also asked our Brand Ambassadors for 2017 to tell us a bit more about who they are, and what inspires their style.
I’m a model / future Badminton star.
Leeds is a constant influence for me; as people we do our thing (whatever that may be) and we do it with style. If you go to Elland Road, down Kirkgate Market, to venues like The Brudenell, or even just take a walk around Briggate you’re going to be surrounded by people from various walks of life who all ooze genuine cool. They probably put something in the Yorkshire Tea

I am a fashion design graduate from Leeds college of art starting my own brand. I am interested in combining fashion design and illustration, using designs as a canvas for art to tell a story. I am currently working with fashion cross over London and my pieces are being sold and showcased through them.
I think meeting other creative people at university made a big difference. Going to an arts university allows you to do things that aren’t the normal and push the boundaries further. Leeds is a very individual place.
