simon thorpe x the city talking

Graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1977, Simon Thorpe embarked on a glittering career in textiles, fashion and interior design during the late seventies, ‘naughty eighties’ and nineties, culminating as a Director at Leeds College of Art. He has worked with internationally renowned architects and designers, he was involved in the first Live Aid concert, has shared the dance floor with Rudolf Nureyev and has even worked for Nuns in the West of Ireland.

In this Creative Networks event at Leeds College of Art in May 2017, Simon was in conversation about his life and career with Daniel Chapman of The City Talking.
